Well, hello there!

Hi! I’m Kelsey and have been baking since I can remember. Fortunately, my techniques and skills have dramatically improved since those younger days. I still remember feeding my aunt cookies made with copious amounts of pepper – they were inedible, to say the least. Baking has always been a way for me to destress and to bring joy into the world, even on the dreariest of days.

Aside from being a baker, I’m a suburban mom with a country heart; spending time with my husband and our rambunctious son is where you can usually find me. Crafting, hiking, paddle-boarding being at the beach/lake, working with horses, and “gloomy rainy” weather are a few of my favorite things (what can I say, I’m a true PNW girl).

Okay, that’s great and all, but WHO am I you ask?? Here’s my shtick: I want my customer to feel like they know me, if not know me. I want them to feel like a friend, not just a customer. So who am I? Quick “fun” 10 facts about me:

  1. I got a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in interactive journalism
  2. I used to be fluent in Spanish
  3. I’m ridiculously competitive & will make everything into a competition if I can
  4. I will always have an ear to listen, and be there for whoever needs it
  5. I’m fun-sized at 5’1.5″ (and yes, the half-inch does very much count!)
  6. I wanted to be a vet growing up and still have a passion/love for animals of all kinds
  7. I love reading mystery type books & true crime is my jam
  8. My family and friends are my entire life
  9. I could eat my weight in Mexican food
  10. I have a Masters degree in sarcasm and bantering
